The BEKO BKS 2520 Kangaroo Vacuum Cleaner which was designed by Arcelik’s Industrial Design Team has been awarded the “Red Dot” Design Award with its design that combines technology with genuineness in product design field, by an independent jury composed of elegant designers of the world who evaluated esthetics, innovation, functionality, ergonomics, product quality and environmental consciousness.
Following the prize ceremony to be held at Aalto-Theater in Essen, Germany where more than 1,200 guests will attend on June 23rd 2008, BEKO BKS 2520 Kangaroo Vacuum Cleaner will be exhibited in the largest contemporary design museum “Red Dot Design Museum” for 1 year together with the products, which were awarded prizes in other categories. Furthermore, it will be offered to the consumers at www.red-dot.de while being included in the “Red Dot" Design Annual.
The “Red Dot” prizes awarded by internationally renowned expert jury members every year at the end of tough tests are considered as the symbol of quality and best design.
