LACP (League of American Communication Professionals), a San-Diego based organization engaging in activities since 2001, considered the 2007 annual report of Arçelik A.Ş. worthy of the "Golden Award" in the durable consumption sector in a competition where annual reports of organizations of different sectors from around the world are evaluated each year.
In the competition, where companies’ annual reports issued in relation to corporate communication activities are evaluated based on a certain criteria, this year annual reports of over 3,000 world companies were assessed. In the competition where the evaluation criteria were listed as "First Impression, Report Cover, Letter to the Shareholders, Style of the Report, Report Financials, Creativity, Clarity of the Message and Data Access", Arçelik A.Ş. marked another "first" via being awarded the "Golden Award" with its 2007 Annual Report.
Arçelik A.Ş. scored 95 out of 100 with its 2007 Annual Report issued in cooperation with Başartan Creative as a result of the assessment by LACP jury members and was awarded in the category of honorary awards, leaving behind many global companies participating in the competition from different sectors.
